About ARQA

Art as culture and connection

For ARQA, art is more than an object — it is culture, history, identity and access.

ARQA is the art and cultural division of IMPETUS WORLD, built on decades of international event production and relationships across the art world. Since 2006, the team has produced art events in Montreal, Argentina, Colombia, New York and Monaco — with a new chapter now opening across the Middle East and Asia.

“The true value of art begins with the work itself — but grows through the stories, people and relationships surrounding it.” — ARQA

International Art Fairs & Cultural Events

Creating environments where galleries, artists, collectors and cultures meet — from a decade producing Art Monaco (2009–2019) to ARQA Riyadh, opening April 2027.

Art Advisory, Acquisitions & Private Sales

Helping collectors, investors and institutions find, acquire and sell blue-chip and emerging art — with research, discretion and international access.

THE MONACO YEARS

A Decade at the Intersection of Art, Culture & Exclusivity

From 2009 to 2019, the team behind ARQA created Art Monaco, an international art fair held in one of the world’s most exclusive destinations. The experience shaped a lasting philosophy: scale isn’t measured by how many people enter the room, but by who enters it.

ARQA’s next international fair turns toward Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, developed in partnership with Cosmos Events and Safari Group — connecting international art with the region’s growing cultural landscape.

PRIVATE ART SERVICES

Art Advisory · Acquisitions · Private Sales

Beyond the fair, ARQA assists private collectors, investors, corporations and designers in finding, evaluating and acquiring significant works — from Modern Masters like Picasso and Monet to leading contemporary names like Damien Hirst and Yayoi Kusama, and works for extraordinary spaces in collaboration with SPAZIO.

“We don't measure the art world only by what hangs on the walls. We measure it by the relationships created around them.” — ARQA

FAQ - ARQA

Whether you’re trying to privately acquire a specific blue-chip work, build a collection with the right guidance, or bring an international gallery to the Middle East, these answers explain how ARQA takes a project from first inquiry through acquisition or exhibition.

Acquiring significant art often requires more than searching publicly available listings. An experienced art advisor can activate gallery, dealer, collector and secondary-market relationships to identify potentially available works, then coordinate appropriate research around provenance, condition, authenticity, pricing and transaction structure before an acquisition is considered.

A collection should begin with the collector: aesthetic interests, objectives, budget, existing works, intended environment and appetite for established versus emerging markets. From there, an advisor can introduce relevant artists and opportunities rather than simply recommending whatever happens to be available.

Art can form part of a broader alternative-asset strategy, but it should not be treated as a guaranteed-return investment. Artist history, provenance, rarity, condition, institutional recognition, market activity and acquisition price all matter. Specialist research and independent professional advice become particularly important for significant purchases.

International expansion in the art market requires understanding the destination, audience, cultural environment, fair positioning and collector ecosystem. ARQA's next international fair project is focused on Riyadh in April 2027, creating a new platform intended to connect international participants with the evolving Saudi and regional art landscape.

Art sourcing for an important space should consider architecture, scale, identity, audience, lighting, placement, budget and the desired emotional effect. ARQA can search across established and contemporary artists and, where required, coordinate with the wider Impetus ecosystem to integrate art into the overall spatial concept.
